What is a Satellite Terminal?
A satellite terminal is a secondary rail terminal developed near a busy main station to decongest traffic and offer additional starting/terminating points for trains. It helps passengers in surrounding areas board or deboard trains without traveling to the main hub, reducing congestion and improving connectivity.
